A few weeks ago we took to the sweaty basement (BTW I am so thankful for this weather we’re having in NY at the moment - “sweat-and-visible-air-free” - you know? That city summer where there’s not a cloud or fog anywhere but a gross haze of HOT? Goodbye, good riddance…) and recorded a reworking/cover/inspired by version of this amazing tune above…
It will be released in November on the great CRAMMED DISCS (BTW anyone wanna buy me the Congotronics Vinyl Box Set..?). Check out the list of people involved! And given that the source is some of the most wonderful music - could it be anything but?
